As of today, 29 September 2015, BEEP Cards are available and can be used in LRT-1 and LRT-2 for P20.00, and can be used in MRT-3 on 3 October 2015. It is also pre-selled by BEEP representatives near MRT-3 stations for P100.00 (includes P80.00 stored load, and the remaining P20.00 is for the card fee). It has a validity of 4 years upon purchase.
Single Journey Tickets can still be availed in all LRT1, LRT-2 and MRT-3 stations but will no longer sell the Old Stored Value tickets.
Here are some of the things you'll need to remember for the BEEP card:
1. Para siguradong gumana ito, huwag itabi ang beep™ sa ibang contactless cards. (Don't use beep™ with other contactless card to make sure it will work.)
2. Huwag butasan ang beep™ card. (Do not bore hole/s in your beep™ card.)
3. Para iyong-iyo na siya, lagyan ng sticker or label ang beep™ card mo. (To personalize it, you can place a sticker or label in your beep™ card.)
4. Siguraduhing may load pa ang beep™ mo, para tuloy-tuloy ang biyahe! I-check ang load sa TVM or sa teller’s booth. Huwag mag-check ng balance sa turnstile o gate. (Make sure your beep™ card have load for continues and convenient travel! Check your balance through TVM or teller's booth. Do not check balance in turnstile or gate.)
