Spending Tracker: Track your Income and Expenses

Writing down expenses and income on your notebook/journal is a must for those who want to track their money flow and/or is in budgeting. But some are too lazy to bring their notebooks/journal because sometime it's too big or heavy to bring. Some only bring their phones because it is a pocket-friendly and all-in-one gadget.

And the good news is, there's an application for your smartphones where you can write down your expenses and income! It is called as "Spending Tracker" by MH Riley Ltd! :)

This application allows the user to add, modify or delete their notes for Income and Expenses.

To add Expense, just click on the "+Expense" button on the lower left of the screen. To add Income, just click on the "+Income" button on the lower right of the application. Upon clicking the "+Expense"/"+Income" button, this will be shown on your screen.

Date of transaction was automatically set to the current date on your smartphone. User need to specify the Amount and Category of the transaction. By the way, you can choose from that portion if that transaction is Expense or Income just by clicking the tab under the "New Transaction" title.

There are also predefined Categories for Income which are "Carry Over" and "Salary".

Carry over means that it is your remaining Income balance from the last month. This is not automatically added by the application. You will still need to add it manually just by checking your Income balance from the previous month and then add it to the current month as Income.

The following are the predefined Categories for Expenses.

You could also add your own Category by clicking on the text box above the predefined Categories (the one with "Type to search or add a category" label). And then click the category you've defined.

And there you go, your own defined category was selected.

You could also select if the transaction is repeating. For example, you have a fixed monthly bill. But the Repeating feature is only available for Spending Pro.

You could also add a Note for each transactions. Example, you want to add more details like "What are the specific foods did you eat?", "What restaurant is it?" and/or "Who's with you on that transaction?".

The main screen will show the summary of transactions per Category.

For iPhone users, you can delete a transaction by swiping it to the left. Delete button will be shown. I am not sure on how to delete transactions for Android and other phones.

There are also Graphic Reports available, if you want to see your Income/Expenses graphically. All you need to do is rotate your phone to landscape view. Make sure that your phone's rotate feature was not locked.

And there you go, you can now track your Income, Expenses and remaining Money using your phones!

For iPhone/iPad users, you can download this application on the App Store by clicking this link.

For Android users, you can download this application on the Google Play by clicking this link.
